The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Svendborg (15-2) on the court of eighth ranked Horsholm on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Horsholm 80-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Svendborg. Svendborg trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-9 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 79-80 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Robert Fields (185-88, college: Catawba) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and the former international forward Casper Hesseldal (198-85, college: Dickinson St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Fields is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Horsholm's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Donald Rutherford (199-87, college: Catawba) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Horsholm (5-11) moved-up to seventh place. Svendborg at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Horsholm are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Aalborg (#10) on the road in the next round. Svendborg will play against Aarhus BC (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
