The game between Top Four teams took place in Sofia. First ranked host Lukoil Academik (10-1) defeated 3rd placed Rilski Sportist (7-4) 96-84. The game was mostly controlled by Lukoil Academik. Rilski Sportist managed to win second period 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lukoil Academik looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American swingman Devin Green (201-82, college: Hampton) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Brandon Heath (193-84, college: San Diego St.) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Serbian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) responded with 20 points and American point guard Terry Smith (185-86, college: Mercyhurst) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lukoil Academik have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-1 record. Rilski Sportist at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Lukoil Academik's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Sofia to the arena Levski Sofia.
