Very expected game when 13th ranked Timba Timosoara (4-12) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Craiova (11-5) 87-75 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning next two quarters and won the game by 12 points. Timba Timosoara was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Bosnian forward Nikola Djurasovic (198-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian guard Rade Dzambic (188-80, college: NYIT, agency: TSS Management) who added 18 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side Canadian forward Denham Brown (198-83, college: Connecticut) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin, agency: I.D.S. Law) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Craiova moved-up to fifth place, which they share with CSM Bucuresti. Timba Timosoara lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. Craiova will face Pitesti (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Timba Timosoara will play against Giurgiu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
