We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked CSU Sibiu (8-8) beat at home 9th ranked Rovinari (8-8) 73-68 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 22-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Devon Austin (198-87, college: Manhattan) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import center Christopher Lee (206-84, college: S.Carolina St., agency: Duran International) who added 15 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four CSU Sibiu players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Louis Darby (196-84, college: Long Beach St.) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian forward Milan Janjusevic (196-83) scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. CSU Sibiu moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Rovinari. CSU Sibiu will face higher ranked U-Mobitelco (#7) in Cluj in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
