Regular Season Round 14: SISU - Amager 84-49

Dameligaen top team - SISU (13-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Amager (4-10) in Copenhagen 84-49. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Amager's 32. SISU forced 26 Amager turnovers. Forward Tea Jorgensen (177-87) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four SISU players scored in double figures. Swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Emilie Fogelstrom (166-92) scored 11 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SISU have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-0 record. Amager lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. SISU will play against Horsholm (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Amager will play against Falcon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
