Fourth defeat of league's leader Selcuk Universitesi (13-4) against fifteenth ranked Baskent Genclik (7-10) 72-70 was the most important game of the last round. Selcuk Universitesi trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-72 at the end of the game. American forward KZell Wesson (201-77, college: La Salle) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Aubrey Reese (183-78, college: Murray St., agency: Interperformances) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Baskent Genclik players scored in double figures. Forward Hadi Ozdemir (203-83) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Jeremy Granger (185-90, college: E.Illinois) added 24 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Selcuk Universitesi. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Baskent Genclik have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Bandirma Kir. and Istanbul B.B. Selcuk Universitesi at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Maliye Milli. They were replaced at the leadership position by Usak. Selcuk Universitesi will play next round against Bandirma Kir. trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
