There was no surprise when 8th ranked Science City Jena (8-9) lost on the road to third ranked BG Karlsruhe (12-5) 89-76 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by BG Karlsruhe. Science City Jena was better in second period 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BG Karlsruhe made 29-of-37 free shots (78.4 percent) during the game.
