Undefeated leader TV Saarlouis Royals recorded the eleventh consecutive victory. This time they beat 9th ranked TG 1889 Sandhausen (4-7) 60-52. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TG 1889 Sandhausen. It looked good early as TG 1889 Sandhausen took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then TV Saarlouis Royals had a 20-16 second period charge getting the lead and TG 1889 Sandhausen was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 52-60. They maintain first position in South with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. TG 1889 Sandhausen at the other side dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. TV Saarlouis Royals' next round opponent will be Speyer / Schifferstadt (#6) in Dudenhofen where they are favorite. TG 1889 Sandhausen will play on the road against Friendsfactory Germering and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
