Undefeated leader Fenerbahce delivered the thirteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Botas (7-6) 87-57 in Istanbul. The game without a history. Fenerbahce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Botas' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Ivana Matovic (197-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Polish swingman Agnieszka Bibrzycka (184-82, college: Abil.Christian, agency: Data Plus Group) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. American center Courtney Paris (191-87, college: Oklahoma) answered with 8 points and 14 rebounds and guard Pelin Bilgic (170-94) added 8 points in the effort for Botas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fenerbahce (13-0) have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. Botas lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Ceyhan Bld and Antakya. Fenerbahce will play against Canik Bld (#9) in Samsun in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas will play on the road against TED Ankara and hopes to get back on the winning track.
