No shocking result in a game when third ranked Anadolu Efes (13-2) beat on the road 12th ranked Gaziantep (4-11) 92-82 on Monday. Anadolu Efes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Jordan Farmar (188-86, college: UCLA) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Slovenian Sasha Vujacic (201-84) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Anadolu Efes' coach Oktay Mahmudi used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) answered with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Joey Dorsey (206-83, college: Memphis, agency: FCM) added 17 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Gaziantep. Five Anadolu Efes and four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. Anadolu Efes have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fener.Ulker and Banvit BK. Newly promoted Gaziantep keeps the twelfth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Turk Telekom. Anadolu Efes is looking forward to face Banvit BK (#3) in Balikesir in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
