Very expected game when 9th ranked Spartak Pleven (4-9) lost at home to second ranked Levski Sofia (11-2) 81-68 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Levski Sofia. Spartak Pleven managed to win fourth quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Spartak Pleven 43-23 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Lukoil Academik. Spartak Pleven at the other side keeps the ninth place with nine games lost. Levski Sofia will meet at home Rilski Sportist (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Spartak Pleven will play against Euroins Cherno More (#6) in Varna and hope to secure a win.
