Craiova was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Timisoara forced 30 Craiova turnovers. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Biljana Pesovic (180-83) who scored 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) chipped in 27 points and 6 rebounds. Timisoara's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Timisoara moved-up to sixth place. Loser Craiova keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Sp.Studentesc and Brasov. Timisoara will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Craiova will play against Sp.Studentesc (#10) in Bucuresti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
