Leading Mladost (9-4) recorded its fourth loss in Mrkonjic Grad. Hosts were edged by ninth ranked Leotar (6-8) 57-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mladost. It looked good early as Mladost took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Leotar took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 2 points. They outrebounded Mladost 31-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Forward Vladimir Aleksic (198-87) scored 23 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Dusko Markovic (205-74) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Montenegrin power forward Igor Bijelic (207-88) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Montenegrin power forward Ranko Velimirovic (205-72, agency: Beo Basket) scored 17 points. Leotar have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kakanj and Varda HE. Mladost at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Leotar will play against Servitium (#10) in Gradiska in the next round. Mladost will play on the road against Vogosca (#11) in Sarajevo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
