There was no surprise in Kaunas where 11th ranked Delikatesas (11-15) was defeated by eighth ranked Zalgiris-Sabonio (15-11) 85-72. Delikatesas was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 48-31 second half run of Zalgiris-Sabonio. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) notched 19 points, 6 assists and 6 steals to lead the effort and center Arturas Gudaitis (208-93) supported him with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Four Zalgiris-Sabonio players scored in double figures. Zalgiris-Sabonio's coach Tomas Masiulis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
