Higher League top team - Dynamo (10-4) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Interkhim (4-8) in Kyiv 78-69. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-17. But Interkhim won second period 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 29 personal fouls committed by Interkhim helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Dynamo maintains first position with 10-4 record. Interkhim lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with eight games lost. Dynamo's next round opponent will be Elizabeth-Basket (#3) in Kirovograd, which may be the game of the day.
