No shocking result in a game when second ranked Elizabeth-Basket (8-6) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Frankivsk-Hal. (1-10) 108-70 on Sunday. The game without a history. Elizabeth-Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Frankivsk-Hal.'s 44. It was a good game for international swingman Alina Iagupova (186-92, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with 45 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. The former international power forward Olena Zherzherunova (191-78, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Elizabeth-Basket players scored in double figures. Olga Chernenko replied with 25 points and 5 rebounds and guard Katerina Polyanychka (178-90) added 17 points in the effort for Frankivsk-Hal.Despite that victory Elizabeth-Basket went down to third position due to points difference. Frankivsk-Hal. lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Elizabeth-Basket will face league's leader Dynamo in Kyiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
