There was no surprise in Canakkale where 7th ranked Bigaspor (4-10) was outplayed by third ranked Gure (11-3) 77-42 on Sunday. The game without a history. Gure led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Bigaspor to just 6 points in third and fourth quarters. Gure dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Bigaspor's 30. Gure forced 29 Bigaspor turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Bigaspor's players. Center Deniz Selin Ekiz (189-89) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Ebru Agar (182-90) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Gure maintains third position in Group C with 11-3 record having just -2 point less than leader Orduspor. Bigaspor lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. Gure will face Harran Uni. (#9) in Sanliurfa in the next round where they are favorite. Bigaspor will play on the road against the league's second-placed Edirne.
