We should mention about the upset which took place in Osnabruck, where higher ranked Osnabruck (6-7) lost at home to tenth ranked Oberhausen (4-9) 52-68. The game was mostly controlled by Oberhausen. Osnabruck was better in third quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Osnabruck to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Osnabruck 45-32 including 35 on the offensive glass.
