Important game to mention about took place in Joniskis. Fourteenth ranked Radviliskis (10-16) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked Delikatesas (11-16) 69-68 on Friday evening. It looked good early as Delikatesas took an 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Radviliskis took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 1 point. It was a great evening for guard Vitalis Pancerevas (185-87, college: Weatherford JC) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Erikas Kaupaitis (202-84, college: USC Upstate) helped adding 14 points. Four Radviliskis players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) with 25 points and guard Irmantas Lianzbergas (185-91) scored 8 points and 6 assists. Radviliskis maintains fourteenth place with 10-16 record. Delikatesas at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Radviliskis will play against higher ranked Suduva-Mantinga (#4) in Marijampole in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Delikatesas will play on the road against S.Marciulionio (#9) in Vilnius and hopes to get back on the winning track.
