We should mention about the upset which took place in Tuebingen, where higher ranked Walter Tigers (9-11) lost at home to seventeenth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (6-14) 56-68. The game was mostly controlled by EnBW Ludwigsburg. Walter Tigers was better in second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Marqus Blakely (196-89, college: Vermont) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks. The other American import power forward Ivan Elliott (203-86, college: UCSB, agency: Limelight Hoops) contributed with 7 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American Reggie Redding (196-88, college: Villanova) replied with 11 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Johannes Lischka (203-87) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Walter Tigers.
