Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Hannover Tigers and 7th ranked Dorsten had identical 6-9 record. This time Hannover Tigers used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Dorsten 100-63 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Hannover Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Dorsten's 22 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Dorsten 55-22 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Nigerian-American forward Michael Fakuade (201-89, college: Ill.-Springfield, agency: N.E.T.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks. Swingman Jan-Peter Prasuhn (198-82) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Hannover Tigers players scored in double figures. Guard John Cadmus (183-85) replied with 17 points and naturalized American guard Gene Hagner (190-83) added 13 points in the effort for Dorsten. Hannover Tigers (7-9) moved-up to fifth place in Group North, which they share with Recklinghausen and BSW Sixers. Dorsten lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Hannover Tigers will face Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Dorsten will play against Oldenburg.
