Seventh-ranked Sakarya (4-11) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Sirince (10-5) on Sunday. The visitors from Hatay managed to secure only three-point victory 61-58. However their fans expected easier game. Sirince forced 22 Sakarya turnovers. The best player for the winners was Selin Oztekin (-90) who scored 6 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Irem Tulgar (-90) chipped in 18 points. Sirince's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Sevgi Esenler (-88) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and guard Gizem Unluer (172-88) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Newly promoted Sirince maintains fourth place in Group C with 10-5 record. Sakarya at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Bigaspor. Sirince are looking forward to face Nigde Turk Telekom (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sakarya will play against Bigaspor in Canakkale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
