Very expected game when 7th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (10-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Duesseldorf Baskets (13-6) 57-48 on Sunday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 16-4. But Ehingen/Urspringschule won second period 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Duesseldorf Baskets dominated on the defensive end, holding Ehingen/Urspringschule to just 4 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Ehingen/Urspringschule 46-24 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American forward Kendall Chones (201-84, college: Colgate, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized American forward Adam Waleskowski (204-82, college: Florida St., agency: Three Eye Sports) helped adding 11 points and 10 rebounds.
