Eleventh ranked DniproAzot won a double-overtime thriller edging 9th ranked Mykolaiv by one point 86-85 on Friday night. Mykolaiv was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in double-overtime 5-5. DniproAzot made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Eric Devendorf (193-87, college: Syracuse) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Sam Muldrow (205-88, college: S.Carolina) who added 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. Four DniproAzot players scored in double figures. DniproAzot's coach Audrius Prakuraitis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Anthony Shavies (191-83, college: Missouri St., agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. DniproAzot maintains eleventh position with 11-17 record. Mykolaiv at the other side keeps the ninth place with 15 games lost.
