Very expected game when 16th ranked USC Leipzig (3-17) was defeated at home by second ranked BG Goettingen (15-5) 92-80 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 56-41 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BG Goettingen outrebounded USC Leipzig 38-25 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Greek-American guard Nicholas Livas (198-87, college: Ill.-Springfield) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds.
