Regular Season Round 19: Naglis Palangos - Pieno Zvaigzdes 70-85

Bottom-ranked Naglis Palangos (0-14) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 85-70 loss to seventh ranked Pieno Zvaigzdes (7-6) in Palanga. The game was mostly controlled by Pieno Zvaigzdes. Naglis Palangos was better in third quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pieno Zvaigzdes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Juventus. Naglis Palangos at the other side still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Pieno Zvaigzdes will play against higher ranked Siauliai (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Naglis Palangos will play against Juventus (#6) in Utena and hopes to get finally their first victory.
