Very predictable result when second ranked CSM Targoviste (16-1) defeated on the road 10th ranked Craiova (7-11) 84-66. CSM Targoviste forced 24 Craiova turnovers and outrebounded them 37-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by American forward Jillian Robbins (190-84, college: Tulsa, agency: LBM Management) who scored that evening 11 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California) supported her with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four CSM Targoviste players scored in double figures. CSM Targoviste's coach Georgios Dikeoulakos allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by Serbian center Zorica Mitov (189-87) did not help to save the game for Craiova. Serbian guard Marija Prlja (163-87) added 15 points and 6 assists for the hosts. CSM Targoviste have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 16-1 record behind leader ICIM Arad. Craiova lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 11 games lost. CSM Targoviste will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Craiova will play at home against Satu Mare (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
