Regular Season Round 21: Pulsar - Musson 56-84

Higher League top team - Musson (18-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (8-10) in Rovno 84-56. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of BC-93 Pulsar. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 56-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Musson dominated on the defensive end, holding BC-93 Pulsar to just 7 points in third quarter. They outrebounded BC-93 Pulsar 42-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Russian guard Roman Legonkov (201-89) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Musson's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Ilya Shemosyuk (188-85) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and center Roman Novikov (203-92) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for BC-93 Pulsar. Newly promoted Musson maintains first place with 18-2 record. BC-93 Pulsar at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Musson are looking forward to face Koksokh-Stal (#7) in Alchevsk in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. BC-93 Pulsar will play on the road against VolinBasket in Lutsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
