TBL top team - Fenerbahce Ulker (15-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat seventh ranked TED Kolejliler (9-8) in Ankara 92-74. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce Ulker. TED Kolejliler was better in fourth quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bosnian-Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (203-89) stepped up and scored 25 points for the winners and American-FYR Macedonian point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Forward Nedim Yucel (203-79) responded with 14 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) and American point guard Ben Woodside (180-85, college: N.Dakota St., agency: Priority Sports) scored 8 points and 9 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Fenerbahce Ulker. They maintain first place with 15-2 record, which they share with Banvit BK. Newly promoted TED Kolejliler keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Fenerbahce Ulker will play against Mersin (#12) in Akdeniz in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TED Kolejliler will play on the road against Gaziantep (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
