It looked good early as Walter Tigers took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ALBA Berlin had a 21-19 second period charge getting the lead and Walter Tigers were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-71. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian forward Nihad Djedovic (198-90, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard DaShaun Wood (185-85, college: Wright St.) who added 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Tyrone Nash (203-88, college: Notre Dame) with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Vaughn Duggins (190-87, college: Wright St., agency: Pro One Sports) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Four Walter Tigers players scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with EWE Baskets. Walter Tigers at the other side keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. ALBA Berlin will play against Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#17) in Frankfurt in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Walter Tigers will have a break next round.
