No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Bigaspor (5-12) won against on the road bottom-ranked Nigde Turk Telekom (0-17) 71-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Bigaspor. Nigde Turk Telekom was better in fourth quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Muge Gozde Inan (-88) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Derya Erdogdu (-87) chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds. Five Bigaspor players scored in double figures. Nevriye Ozbinar (-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Cabuk Gulcan scored 18 points. Newly promoted Bigaspor maintains eighth place in Group C with 5-12 record. Nigde Turk Telekom lost their seventeenth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 17 games lost. Bigaspor will face higher ranked Sirince (#4) in Hatay in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nigde Turk Telekom will play on the road against Harran Uni. (#9) in Sanliurfa and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
