Very expected game when 11th ranked Canik Bld (6-11) lost to seventh ranked Ceyhan Bld (9-8) in Samsun 74-80. Canik Bld was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Ceyhan Bld made 22-of-23 charity shots (95.7 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Canik Bld helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Kayla Pederson (193-89, college: Stanford) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!).
