Very important is a home loss of second ranked SC Rist Wedel (12-6) against eleventh ranked Spot Up Medien Baskets (7-11) on Saturday night. Four SC Rist Wedel players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spot Up Medien Baskets moved-up to eighth place in Group North, which they share with 3 other teams. SC Rist Wedel lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with six games lost. They share it with Herten Lions. Spot Up Medien Baskets will play against higher ranked Hannover Tigers (#7) in Hannover in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
