Another exciting game was played in Cluj between eighth ranked Gaz Metan and 4th placed U-Mobitelco where Gaz Metan (13-8) rolled over U-Mobitelco (14-7) on the road with 25-point difference 84-59. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of U-Mobitelco. The game was mostly controlled by Gaz Metan. U-Mobitelco was better in third quarter 13-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American point guard Kyle Shiloh (191-85, college: Nevada) who led his team to a victory with 17 points. Montenegrin-Serbian forward Ivan Ivanovic (205-80, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Gaz Metan's coach Marcel Tenter felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Sean Barnette (198-86, college: Wingate) answered with 9 points and 16 rebounds and Bulgarian Hristo Nikolov (200-85) added 15 points in the effort for U-Mobitelco. Gaz Metan have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain eighth place with 13-8 record. U-Mobitelco at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Gaz Metan will play against league's leader Oradea at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. U-Mobitelco will play against Timba Timosoara in Timisoara and hopes to get back on the winning track.
