No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked BG Karlsruhe (14-7) beat at home bottom-ranked USC Leipzig (3-18) 80-73. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But USC Leipzig won third quarter 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when BG Karlsruhe won last quarter 21-16.
