No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Rovinari (11-10) smashed at home 13th ranked Timba Timosoara (5-16) 102-78 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Rovinari. Timba Timosoara was better in fourth quarter 28-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rovinari made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Rovinari outrebounded Timba Timosoara 37-26 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage.
