Botas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Samsun to just 7 points in first quarter. Botas dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Samsun's 34. Botas forced 20 Samsun turnovers and outrebounded them 62-16 including a 25-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American center Courtney Paris (191-87, college: Oklahoma) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Botas moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Istanbul Univ. Samsun lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Botas' next round opponent will be higher ranked Kayseri (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
