Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked TSV Amicitia (8-7) lost on the road to top-ranked TV Saarlouis Royals (15-0) 74-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by TV Saarlouis Royals. TSV Amicitia was better in fourth quarter 22-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Quite impressive performance for forward Laura Rahn (186-86) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Colleen Planeta (188-88, college: Point Loma) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five TV Saarlouis Royals players scored in double figures. TV Saarlouis Royals' coach Rene Spandauw used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American swingman Kellindra Zackery (182-88, college: Newman) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Victoria Mundelius (177) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TSV Amicitia. TV Saarlouis Royals have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 15-0 record. Loser TSV Amicitia dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. TV Saarlouis Royals will face Friendsfactory Germering (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TSV Amicitia will play against Bad Aibling and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
