Important game to mention about took place in Yuzhny. Fifth ranked Khimik (17-12) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Hoverla (15-14) 78-75 on Friday evening. Hoverla was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 26-16 charge of Khimik, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) who led the winners and scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Bulgarian point guard Willie Deane (188-80, college: Purdue, agency: Higher Vision Sports) accounted for 10 points and 9 assists for the winning side. Five Khimik players scored in double figures. Khimik's coach Zvezdan Mitrovic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American power forward Travis Peterson (208-85, college: Samford, agency: Edge Sports) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Kyndall Dykes (190-87, college: New Orleans, agency: Edge Sports) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Hoverla in the defeat. Khimik maintains fifth place with 17-12 record. Hoverla at the other side keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost.
