Fifteenth-ranked Farul Const. (3-19) used its home court advantage to challenge sixth ranked CSM Bucuresti (15-7) in Constanca on Saturday. The visitors from Bucuresti managed to secure only three-point victory 74-71. However their fans expected much easier game. Farul Const. cut a 14-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. They outrebounded Farul Const. 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. American forward Brian Morris (205-87, college: Humboldt St.) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and Canadian-Jamaican forward Jevohn Shepherd (196-86, college: Michigan) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. CSM Bucuresti have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams.
