Very predictable result when seventh ranked Rhein Main Baskets (8-9) won against on the road bottom-ranked Don Bosco Bamberg (3-14) 77-62 on Saturday. The game without a history. Rhein Main Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game, while Don Bosco Bamberg only scored nine points from the stripe. Rhein Main Baskets forced 20 Don Bosco Bamberg turnovers. Strangely Don Bosco Bamberg outrebounded Rhein Main Baskets 45-29 including a 22-4 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Denise Beliveau (180-89, college: New Hampshire) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and her fellow American import guard Alyssa Karel (170-89, college: Wisconsin) accounted for 18 points and 4 steals.
