Regular Season Round 17: Berlin - Goettingen 68-56

The game between Top Four teams took place in Berlin. Second ranked host Berlin (14-3) defeated 3rd placed Goettingen (10-7) 68-56. Forward Noemie Rouault (180-95) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 20 rebounds for the winners and forward Daniela Vogel (179-92) chipped in 24 points. Berlin's coach Timur Topal used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Jenele Peterson (174, college: Whitman) responded with 16 points and Polish forward Klaudia Grudzien (183-90) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Berlin maintains second place in North with 14-3 record behind leader Saarlouis. Loser Goettingen keeps the third position with seven games lost. Berlin will face Hannover (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Goettingen will play against SG BBZ Opladen (#7) in Leverkusen.
