American power forward John Turek (206-83, college: Nebraska) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Maltese-American Darryl Jackson (189-85, college: Warner Pacific, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Telekom Baskets. They maintain seventh place with 12-10 record. Loser EnBW Ludwigsburg keeps the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. Telekom Baskets will face higher ranked ALBA Berlin (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
