Very expected game in Weissenfels where 14th ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (9-14) was defeated by fourth ranked EWE Baskets (14-7) 75-67 on Saturday. Mitteldeutscher BC was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 25-13 charge of EWE Baskets, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Adam Chubb (208-81, college: Pennsylvania, agency: Pro One Sports) who scored 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field).
