Regular Season Round 19: Dorsten - Stahnsdorf 60-98

There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Dorsten (7-12) was outscored at home by twelfth ranked RSV Eintracht (6-13) 98-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. RSV Eintracht led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 67.9 percent from the field. RSV Eintracht had a 27-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for RSV Eintracht especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. It was a very good performance for center Michael Haucke (210-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Blair Wheadon (191-90, college: W.Oregon) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. RSV Eintracht's coach Kai Buchmann felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized Albanian guard Nderim Pelaj (179-88) answered with 12 points and 4 assists and American guard Christopher Jones (183-88, college: Prairie View A&M) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for Dorsten. RSV Eintracht maintains twelfth place in Group North with 6-13 record. Loser Dorsten dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. RSV Eintracht will face higher ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
