Fourteenth-ranked Miercurea Ciuc (3-19) used its home court advantage to challenge tenth ranked CSU Sibiu (11-11). The visitors from Sibiu managed to secure only three-point victory 82-79. CSU Sibiu moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Rovinari. Miercurea Ciuc lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 19 games lost. CSU Sibiu's next round opponent will be higher ranked Timisoara (#6) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Miercurea Ciuc will play against the league's second-placed Craiova (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
