There was no surprise in Krivoy Rog where 10th ranked Kryvbasbasket (12-18) was crushed by fourth ranked Halychyna (19-12) 90-67. The game without a history. Halychyna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Halychyna had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Kryvbasbasket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and American point guard Darrel Mitchell (181-84, college: LSU, agency: Beo Basket) supported him with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Halychyna players scored in double figures. Even 16 points by American point guard Darius Adams (182-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Kryvbasbasket. Serbian forward Lazar Trifunovic (205-87, college: Radford) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Kryvbasbasket's coach Karlis Muiznieks gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Halychyna moved-up to third place, which they share with Ferro-ZNTU. Kryvbasbasket at the other side keeps the tenth position with 18 games lost. Halychyna's next round opponent will be DniproAzot (#13) in Dniprodzerzhynsk and are hoping to win another game. Kryvbasbasket will play on the road against the league's leader Budivelnyk in Kyiv.
