DBBL top team - TSV 1880 Wasserburg (15-2) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat ninth ranked Oberhausen (7-10) 73-58. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Oberhausen. The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. Oberhausen managed to win second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Oberhausen to just 5 points in first quarter. TSV 1880 Wasserburg have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-2 record. Oberhausen at the other side dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Marburg. TSV 1880 Wasserburg will meet at home league's second-placed SV Halle Lions in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
