Important game to mention about took place in Vaerlose. Eighth ranked Vaerlose (9-16) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Naestved (12-13) 85-82 on Sunday evening. It was a great shooting night for Vaerlose especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Richard Delk (193-86, college: Troy) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Justin Baker (203-89, college: Utah Valley) who added 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Baker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side guard Caleb Walker (193-89, college: Nebraska) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Quinton Doggett (203, college: Southern) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five Vaerlose and four Naestved players scored in double figures. Naestved's coach Geoff Kotila rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vaerlose maintains eighth position with 9-16 record. Naestved at the other side keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. Vaerlose will play against league's leader Svendborg on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Naestved will play against Aalborg (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
