Rather predictable result in Langen where seventh ranked Rhein Main Baskets (9-9) defeated 9th ranked Oberhausen (7-11) 69-63. Oberhausen was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 42-31 second half run of Rhein Main Baskets. It was a good game for American guard Alyssa Karel (170-89, college: Wisconsin) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import forward Denise Beliveau (180-89, college: New Hampshire) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Fijian guard Valerie Nainima (165-86, college: S.Carolina) replied with 25 points and 5 rebounds and American center Chanita Jordan (196-87, college: Bowie St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) added 7 points, 13 rebounds and 7 blocks in the effort for Oberhausen.
